Remote Occupational Health Assessments with a Personal Touch
At Asclepius Occupational Health, our video consultations offer a face-to-face alternative to in-person appointments—providing all the benefits of clinical expertise, combined with the convenience of remote access. These consultations are carried out by either a Specialist Occupational Health Practitioner or a Doctor, depending on the nature of the referral.
Video consultations allow our Clinicians to conduct more detailed assessments, visual checks, and build rapport with employees—ideal for cases requiring a more personal approach.
What Are Video Consultations?
Video consultations connect Employees with an Occupational Health Professional via a secure online platform. These remote sessions allow for
in-depth discussion, and in some cases, visual observation of physical or ergonomic concerns—without needing to visit a clinic.

Appropriateness of Referral
As an Employer, if you are unsure of the appropriateness of a Referral, you may wish to discuss this with one of our Senior Clinicians, using a Freephone Support Line, which is available to all Employers registered with us.

Referral
Employers can refer Employees for a video consultation with full consent. Referrals often focus on sickness absence management, workplace adjustments, or fitness for work assessments.
Assessment
During the consultation, our specialist Occupational Health Practitioner will assess the employee’s health condition and its impact on their work. This remote approach allows for quick, flexible, and accessible support.
Recommendations
Following the assessment, we provide a detailed, impartial report with actionable recommendations for both the Employer and Employee. This may include suggested workplace adjustments, phased
return-to-work plans, or further medical evaluations if necessary.
Support
Our team is readily available to support Employers & Employees with follow-ups, ensuring the successful implementation of recommendations and the sustained
well-being of Employees.
